The storm never lasts. It may feel like it's never going to get better but the truth is we're so focused on our pain, so caught up on the bad situations life puts us in that we often forget about how it only works in our favor. These little storms come to teach us balance. It teaches us that it's okay to break down and get real with yourself once in a while but it also teaches us to pick ourselves back up and start again.

It may hurt right now, but that does not mean it's going to hurt forever.

Just like chronic illnesses. We're always fighting a silent battle but it's not the end of the world now is it? We still get up every morning and secure that bag. We push through the pain and make sure we keep ourselves on the go. Always busy with something. Always trying to have a meaningful impact on everyone we meet. Always trying to jump out of our comfort zones and cherish every moment because we know what it feels like to be on the verge of losing our lives. Constantly creating adventurous memories. We're always the ones with a bright smile on our face. Uplifting others is in our nature. Putting aside personal issues and being there for our loved ones, but guess what? it's okay to stop for a minute just to admire how absolutely breathtaking the sky is. It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to just breathe and take a day off from whatever you've been so consumed with. It's okay to not do anything.

So tell me, if you don't love yourself, how are you supposed to love others? If you don't take care of yourself, how are you supposed to take care of others? If you don't create energy for yourself, how are you supposed to give others your energy? you can't give what you don't have.

From a more personal perspective, it's not easy but you're strong and you're only going to get stronger.

Regardless of the circumstances life doesn't get easier, you just get stronger.

If you're struggling with something right now and you happen to be reading this, hear me out.

Whether it's a chronic illness, work, school, family issues, personal issues whatever it is, you ARE going to be okay.

Take a leap of faith and trust the process. Reach out to those around you and stop bottling everything up. Understand that it's just a bad day and NOT a bad life. Stop blaming yourself for things that you can not control. Stop apologizing for every little thing. Focus on YOU. Keep yourself hydrated. Take your vitamins. Go for a walk and clear your mind. Take a moment to stop and breathe. Remember that you aren't alone. You're loved. You deserve to be here. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Once you learn how to put yourself first, you start to fly and everyone around you will feel it too.

Don't let the little bumps on the road stop you from reaching your full potential.
